Sour – Flanders Red Ale | 6.7% ABV

Commercial Description:

U55 is our barrel-aged Flanders-style red ale. About two years ago we brewed a wort with pilsner and caramel malt and barrel-aged it. After about 24 months of maturation, we blended and naturally conditioned. We like to keep our barrel-aged blends nice, soft, and mellow, which is what we did for RU55 Batch 9. Smooth and mellow with nice dark fruit, caramel, leathery character, and a gorgeous copper/red color is what time, patience, and blending created. We’re happy to have this JK original back! 6.7% abv.
