When we think of Sonoma Coast Chardonnay, we typically think of Expensive, very fancy Chardonnay, as in the likes of Marcassin, Wayfarer, and Kistler. But this cold, windswept coast of California is also home to some impeccable Chardonnay bargains that will please both the aficionado and the casual Chardonnay enthusiast. Amicis 2017 wine is a prime example, a wine that delivers the pleasure of a $50 bottle at about half the price. James Suckling loved the wines Sliced apples, pears and lightly toasted oak on the nose and palate. Full-bodied, layered and juicy. Lovely, delicious finish.
