Black Bull 40 Year Oldis so named to reflect the spirits creation. In 1864, one George Willsher called fora high strength, high malt content blend that was bold and different, including a bottling strength of 100 proof. The 40-year-old variant doesnt quite hit that, but at ABV, itsstill pretty strongfor a whisky of this age.
